New York apartments to be built in a year

The new apartments will be built to accommodate a population of just more than 1,000 people and will be located in a two-story building, officials said.

New York Housing Authority Chairman Richard Sussman told the New York Times that the apartments will provide housing for the state’s poorest people.

The agency will also buy new homes for the project.

A housing source told the Times that “it’s a long shot” that the building will have any residents.

The building will be owned by the New Yorker Housing Trust, a government agency that provides public housing.
